Welcome to the online home of the Carpenters’ District Council of Ontario (CDCO), a progressive labour organization that represents over 20,000 women and men working across the province in a variety of skilled trades including carpentry, drywall and resilient flooring. 

It is my hope that this newly-designed website will provide you with an interactive and informative perspective on the CDCO, its affiliated Locals, its members and the services that we provide.

As Executive Secretary-Treasurer of the CDCO, it is my responsibility to oversee the successful operations of the Council for both the short and long term.  This involves participating in collective agreement negotiations, executive meetings, membership meetings and other organizational committees. It also requires the constant diligence and hard work of our Business Representatives who are in the field, visiting your job sites in order to ensure that your wages are properly paid and that working conditions are up to standard.

We rely on the support and input of our members to help keep us strong and growing. If you encounter a situation on your job site that you believe violates the collective agreement or relevant legislation, I strongly urge you to contact the CDCO office or your Local.
